Refund & Return Policy

1. Overview We want you to absolutely love your Lumi Candle. However, as our candles are hand-poured in small batches, please choose carefully as we generally do not offer refunds for "change of mind."

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

2. Damages and Issues Please inspect your order upon reception. We pack every candle with extreme care, but glass can sometimes break in transit. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

  • To report a damaged item: Please email us at info@lumicandles.com.au with your Order Number and a photo of the damaged goods. We will arrange a replacement or refund immediately.

3. Change of Mind Returns We accept returns for "change of mind" within 14 days of you receiving your order, provided that:

  • The item is unused, unlit, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • It is in the original packaging.

  • You provide proof of purchase (Order Number).

Please note shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.

4. Non-Returnable Items Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Used Candles: For safety and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on any candle that has been lit or has a trimmed wick.

  • Sale Items: Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items and "Seconds" are final sale.

5. How to Initiate a Return To start a return, you can contact us at info@lumicandles.com.au. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

6. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
